Doctrines are the core of what you believe. Without them you have nothing to hold to, you would be lost like a ship at sea in a raging storm.Ephesians 4:14a says: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine. Hebrews 13:9a - Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. Whether it be in home life, business, or in what the Bible says, we all need a set of beliefs to keep us on course. In these days of gray areas of right and wrong, situational ethics, and the like, folks too often follow the crowd - not knowing what to do. They may say everyone is doing it that way, or that it "seems" ok, not knowing if the Bible evens speaks to that issue! Many who would call themselves Christians seem to have no hard and fast values to guide them. They seem uncertain of what Scripture might say about a given situation. Indeed, many seem offended at those who would say right and wrong is governed by what the Bible says. 2 Timothy 4:3a - For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. Are we saying we are perfect? That we are better than the rest? God forbid! We are just sinners saved by grace, by the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ who died for you and me. We believe that you can have a Bible that you can trust and not be confused about. You can have a Bible that doesn't need correcting. You can have a Bible that will lead you through the situations in your life (along with prayer) if you will let it. We believe you can be saved and know that for a surety. We believe the Lord is coming back to take His bride. We believe if you accept Him right now, He will save you (see plan of salvation page).
Follow the links at the top or bottom of this page to find out more about the basic doctrines we teach and hold dear. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1 Timothy 4:13
