Where will you be in 100 years? If you said dead and gone, you're only half right. With the exception of some individuals who live into their 100's, most of us will be dead. Gone?..... Not exactly. Your eternal soul is just that - eternal. And you will spend that eternity in one of two places, either heaven or hell.

It is up to you to decide where.......

First, understand that we are all sinners by nature. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Secondly, there is a penalty for sin that must be paid. "For the wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23a; "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15; "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever." Revelation 14:11a

However...... "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23b The price that God demands for our sin has already been paid! When Jesus hung on the cross, He shed His blood for you and me so that our sin could be washed away in the eyes of God. Ephesians 1:7, speaking of Christ says, "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."

Thirdly, we must repent and turn our hearts toward God. No one will ever be perfect this side of heaven, but you can allow God's Holy Spirit to guide and direct you. Acts 17:30 tells us that God commands all men everywhere to repent. And we cannot serve God and be a servant to sin. "No man can serve two masters." Matthew 6:24a; "Whosoever commiteth sin is the servant of sin." John 8:34b; "My conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost." Romans 9:1b (see also Romans 15:13) God will change your heart and your affections toward heavenly things, towards Christlikeness. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature." 2 Corinthians 5:17a; "According to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost." Titus 3:5b

Lastly, what is a person to do? The Philippian jailer asked that same question in Acts chapter 16. In verse 30b he says "Sirs what must I do to be saved?" The answer - "And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31; In Romans the answer is just as simple - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9

If you would like to be saved right now you can pray a sinners prayer. Please don't take this lightly. Remember, Romans 10:9 says believe in thine heart and you'll be saved. But pray to God about these things:

1) Admit that you are a sinner.

2) Repent and ask for forgiveness.

3) Ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you, and be the Lord of your life.

Finally, if you received Jesus as your Saviour, please let us know. Also, if you would like some information on your new Christian walk and what to do now, we would be glad to send it to you. See the Contact Us page by following the link below.
